For most of our new members, building ships like these is a completely new experience. While few (although there have been some) have scratch-built their ships completely the first time, even starting with a used or half-built ship will involve some construction and/or installation of certain components. The links below contain articles and references that may prove helpful in better understanding the workings of these ships. And since an "unmentioned" motto of our club is there always more than one way to build it, there may be more than one article describing some of the components.
