Below you will find photo's from some of our combat events, as well as links to battle reports (stories) and a sampling of issues of TaskForce144 (the quaterly newsletter for members of the club).
You never want to find yourself alone in the middle of the enemy fleet! You can see that in this movie where a Japanese Nagato gets surrounded by the Allied Fleet:
"EVERYONE VS. NAGATO: THE MOVIE"
(You can find some more movies HERE)
|
As seen by the impact (splash) on the sides and the stream of water pumping out the back, the USS North Carolina has found her range on the SMS VonDerTann as she steams along side firing sidemounts into her prey.

IJN Nagato and IN Roma are cornered near shore as USS Maryland and USS California move in to fire.

This HMS Warspite is having a tough day!
DKM Bismark fires a fierce volley into the sides of Warspite
(even knocking off a turret in the bow)
|

|
Dad may be done (He got sunk) but that doesn't mean the kids are out yet!
Young Christopher watches his ship while he swiches on his pump to check for damage (water pumping out).
|
Of course, when not pounding each other into the shore, our members are friends who trade stories, share parts, and help with construction tips. Examples of this are evident in the club's quaterly publication: Task Force 144
(View Sample Issue Here)

Sometimes the teams are not Axis vs. Allies:
Here the USS North Carolina engages the British HMS Invincible stranded on shore.
|
A captain retrieves his HMS Invincible from pond where it sank (notice the water flowing back out holes in the bow!)
But even when sunk (its a part of the game) everyone has fun!
|
Why is he smiling? He's smiling because he'll have that patched and ready again in only about 30 minutes.
